Austin J. Hill



Austin J. Hill joined Thomas Mamer in 2013, after graduating from the John Marshall Law School, in Chicago, Illinois. His practice is focused upon wills, trusts, probate, real estate, and general business law.

Prior to attending law school, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2008, double-majoring in Philosophy and Political Science. During law school, Austin interned for Judge Holly Clemons, the State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Attorney General’s Office. He also acted as a research assistant to professors Ken Kandaras and Jack Gorby, researching topics in Civil Procedure and Legal Reasoning, respectively.

Austin maintains an active community presence. He has served as the president of the Eastern Illinois Estate Planning Council; as a trustee on the Community Foundation of East Central Illinois’ Board of Trustees; as a board member for his Rotary Club’s Foundation (WGRC, Inc.); as a committee member for the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation’s “Bringing Justice Home” capital campaign committee; as a campaign coordinator for the United Way’s Workplace Campaign; and as an organizer for Developmental Services Center’s “Oktoberfest” fundraiser. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Champaign.

Austin is a lifelong resident of the area. He lives in Savoy with his wife, Monica, and their two children, Evan and Madeline. His father, Dr. Martin E. Hill, D.D.S., operated a dental practice in Champaign for 36 years.
